Michele’s wicked sense of humour is one of the first of her many fabulous traits that stays with you. In 2010, I invited Michele to be an Ambassador for Walk With Me, a socially inclusive community event designed to focus on the ability of children with disabilities. Michele is a shining example of the ability in a person with a disability. Whilst I feed quite sure her rehabilitation would have been long and possibly painful, she is today an outstanding Ambassador for disability and a damn fine funny young woman.
